Peppadew® Relish and Caraway Sauce
An easy-to-prepare sauce that works well with many dishes.

1 tsp (5 ml) caraway seeds
2 cloves of garlic
4 red peppers, oven roasted, skins removed
1 C (250 ml) Peppadew® Relish (your preferred flavour)
2 Tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
splash of lemon juice
salt and pepper
Roast a teaspoon of caraway seeds in a hot oven or a dry frying pan for 5 minutes until aromatic.
Place in a blender with 2 cloves garlic. Add the 4 roasted and peeled red peppers, 1 cup of Peppadew® relish and 2 tablespoons olive oil. Pulse until smooth and season with lemon juice and salt.
Serve as a pasta sauce with fried meatballs and grated Parmesan cheese, or as a sauce with grilled fish/vegetables.
