Rainbow Princess Buddha Bowl
These beautiful bowls are positively bursting with colour and nutrition. Perfect for any princess (or prince) that loves lots of flavour and fun. The bowls will work with whatever veggies you like, as long as there’s a lot of colour and a variety of flavour and textures. Mix it up each time to keep it interesting and inventive.
We’ve used Fry’s Chickpea and Roasted Butternut Balls in this recipe and have taken the idea of a snack platter and turned it into a bright and delicious meal. Get creative with cookie cutters and edible flowers to make it really pretty and even a splash of edible glitter for a little glam.
Spinach and Avo Green Monster Pasta
Don’t be scared of green veg, this monster is all taste and no bite! A yummy way to serve Fry’s Chickpea and Quinoa Falafels. You can opt to use spiralised veggie noodles or regular pasta – the avo and spinach sauce works well with either. It’s a great raw sauce that retains all of those fresh veggie nutrients. For variation, top with a sprinkle of sunflower seeds or some sundried tomatoes.
Butternut Digger Spaghetti
Your kids will clean up this mess in no time! A yummy butternut pasta dish that will become a favourite. We’ve used spiralised butternut noodles but a regular pasta noodle will work just as well. Fry’s Chickpea and Roasted Butternut Balls are ideal for this creamy butternut sauce, topped cubes of sweet oven-roasted butternut.
Peeping Face Falafel Pitas
If you’re looking for fun party food for kids, this dish is a winner. Even a Friday night in will be the perfect time to tuck into these. A play on a traditional falafel pita, we’ve added a bit of fun by using a beetroot hummus for colour (although regular will do) and some peeping eyes to create faces using Fry’s Chickpea and Quinoa Falafels. Fresh cucumber and cabbage, dressed with a mild tahini sauce, make this a yummy, get-stuck-in kind of dish.
Rocket Nugget Skewers with Avo Dipping Sauce
3..2…1… blast off into outer space with this tasty way to serve Fry’s Rice Protein & Chia Nuggets. Cook the nuggets and then skewer and serve with a tasty avo dipping sauce. Get creative with how you decorate your celestial scene and your rocket – there are plenty of fresh veggies that will work to create rockets that your kids will love.
