EAT Restaurant is a contemporary dining space located in the Hemel-en-Aarde Village, at the gateway to the R320 Wine Route and the town of Hermanus. The menu is inspired by an eclectic blend of flavours and influences from around the world.
Visiting in summer? Try the freshly caught line-fish or a charcuterie platter (featuring house-cured, pasture-raised Glen Oakes pork). Soak up the sunshine in the lovely courtyard area. In winter savour their signature smoked garlic fillet or a honey-roasted pork belly as you cosy up next to the fire. Pizza is a real all-weather dish and EAT serves up a delicious thin-crust, stone-baked version that’ll have you going back for more. We love the Quattro Formaggio – a combo of Mozzarella, Blue Cheese, Goat’s Cheese and Pecorino, topped with dressed rocket.
Head chef, Connel Massyn, has led the talented team at EAT Restaurant since November 2014. His passion for creating simple and delicious food using fresh, locally sourced ingredients shines through in every dish he serves.
EAT Restaurant has ample off street parking and it is easily accessible by wheelchair.
