BERTUS BASSON AT SPICE ROUTE DESTINATION
Located at Spice Route Destination in Paarl, enjoy a menu of classic South African dishes with a contemporary twist. All kiddie’s meals include kiddies colouring-in sheet and lucky packet. There is also a great area outdoors for kids to play in and around.
Good to know: ideal for a more sophisticated lunch, even with kids.

Cosecha creates fresh Latin American cooking and can be found at Noble Hill Wine Estate in Simondium. With spectacular views over the lake and a wide area for children to play and run around in (plus a jungle gym area), it will not disappoint. If you’re a party with kids, you will be seated in the garden area where kids can run and play. The finishing touch is that they offer a picnic basket to cater for your child’s taste buds.
Good to know: you can arrange picnic baskets for kids to enjoy on the lawn. The jungle gym area is set slightly away from tables so someone will need to keep an eye on smaller kids.

STABLES RESTAURANT AT VERGELEGEN
Stables Restaurant is located on the historic wine estate Vergelegen and is the more relaxed sibling of Camphors Restaurant. It is a light and contemporary space that offers a bistro-style menu, perfect for families and has an amazing playground with slides, tunnels to crawl through, tree trunk carved vehicles and a suitable spongy tarmac ground cover. Parents can sip on award-winning wines from Vergelegen. For the kids, they have a ‘Little VIPs’ menu that has a suitably priced and sized options such as mac ‘n cheese, burgers and pizzas. Probably one of the most child-friendly wine farms you’ll find.

At Warwick Wine Estate, when it comes to accommodating kids you’re spoilt for choice. It’s not often that a restaurant is both fine dining and child-friendly, which is why we’re so thankful for Open Door, there’s something for both the young and the old. The team has created the most epic jungle gym, kitted out with slides, monkey bars, swings, you name it! Plus there is a bike park, so be sure to bring things with wheels, and a life-size tractor for them to live out their farm life dreams.

Leopard’s Leap is great for a family day out and is geared for this with awesome green lawns for running and jungle gyms for climbing. The restaurant is spacious and relaxed and overlooks the green lawns and vineyards. Plenty of space for kids to run and tire themselves out.

Nestled amongst the beautiful Durbanville Hills, Tables at Nitida is one of two restaurants on the farm and it’s location and menu make it an easy place to have the kids. They also offer a delicious kids menu and baby chairs to keep your little one snug and safe!
