Allée Bleue Isabeau
Allée Bleue Wine Estate is situated in Franschhoek, in the heart of the Western Cape wine route. The estate itself is located near Franschhoek village and owes its name to the giant, ‘blue’ eucalyptus trees, which form a long line leading up to the entrance to the farm.
Isabeau 2014 is Allée Bleue’s flagship white wine and it is a blend of 68% Chardonnay, 21% Semillon and 11% Viognier. Allée Bleue Isabeau 2014 is in perfect balance and it will age beautifully, over the next 2-4 years.
On the nose: fragrant citrus and dried apricot welcome you on the nose. There are layers of spicy cinnamon and soft vanilla which follows on to the palate.
On the palate: silky with elegant flavours of summer fruits and has a lingering, lemony aftertaste.
